Your language and/or culture sessions are tailored to your needs, on a one-to-one or group basis, either online or face-to face. You will be taught not only the language but also how to communicate effectively in your working environment with an appreciation of Japanese cultural norms. Differences of opinion and disagreements are normal in the work environment, but if this is an issue with with your Japanese colleagues, it may be beneficial for you to be aware of the values and work ethic that operate within Japanese companies. It could just be just a small misunderstanding that can be resolved easily. An understanding of Japanese culture can be eye-opening!

For Individuals
Your private language tuition is arranged around your personal goals, and lessons can be either online or in person. In general, it is recommended that your sessions are scheduled regularly, however, your sessions can be arranged as and when required. I would like you to enjoy yourself learning with me and feel like you are making progress in each lesson. Learning a language will take time and require persistence. However I understand the issues having studied both English and Spanish, so please do not worry and I will be there to support and encourage you!
Mini Homestay - Immerse yourself into Japanese
A half day or full day Japanese immersion. It is a great opportunity for you to try and put your Japanese into practice in real life. Spend your time in everyday situations in the Japanese language. Hands-on fun cultural activities will be incorporated. This can be scheduled on demand for one-to-one sessions. Alternatively put your name down on the list for a group session.

Cultural Workshops and Talks
On the Japanese work ethic, Japanese education, traditional costume, Japanese parenting, calligraphy, origami, manga and anime, bento lunch, tea and sake, cooking classes, etc. A first-hand account of life in Japan is presented. Careful planning and participation in hands-on activities is provided.
